Adoption
You have found the one, or you are ready to meet them. We make adoption straightforward and honest, because the next home each rescue goes to needs to be the last one.
How adoption works
Most adoptions take one to two weeks from application to homecoming.
1. Application
Mostly quick selections. It helps us understand your home, routine, and what you are looking for.
2. Conversation
A WhatsApp chat or call to talk through your answers, the animal’s history, and any questions you have.
3. Meet and home check
You meet the animal, and we arrange a home visit or video call to make sure the space is safe and ready.
4. Homecoming
You sign the adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, and take them home. We stay in touch and are always a message away.
What we ask of you
- You are 21 or over, and everyone in your household agrees to the adoption.
- Your tenancy, building, or community rules permit the pet, with written approval where required.
- The animal lives indoors with you, never in a yard, garage, or rooftop.
- You plan for summer: early or late walks for dogs, air conditioning, and never leaving a pet in a car.
- If you ever leave the UAE, your pet relocates with you. It is easier than most people think, and we can guide you.
- If circumstances ever change, you contact us first. An adopted animal must never be sold, abandoned, or independently rehomed.
What you get
- A rescue who is sterilised, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated before adoption, unless medically advised otherwise.
- An honest account of their health, history, and behaviour, including the difficult parts.
- Everything their foster has learned: routine, quirks, favourite toys, and triggers.
- Advice and support for as long as you have them, on WhatsApp whenever you need us.
- A rescue that will always take them back, no questions and no judgement.
Adoption fees
Fees range between AED 800 and AED 4,000 depending on the rescue, and are a reimbursement toward sterilisation, vaccinations, microchipping, boarding, and veterinary care. They are non-refundable, except during the trial period, which we explain before homecoming. Every dirham goes straight back into pulling the next animal to safety.
